December 26th...

Wow Christmas has come and gone! I have already taken the tree down and except for the flag outside there isn't any decorations out. I guess I could of waited till next Monday, but I was in the mood and who is to say I will be next Monday. Christmas was good this year, my family got together on Christmas Eve because with DH's schedule it just worked out better that we did it then. We first went to the communion service at church which was really nice. We then went back to my parents and exchanged gifts. I got some jewelry, 2 purses, a key finder for my purse which my Mom had engraved, a deep basked fryer that DH and I got together and some money. There isn't anyone in my family that scraps so they won't buy me scrap stuff that is why I got some money so I could buy whatever I liked. DH did get me the sizzix tag die and mm magnetic stamps that I had been wanting. Last year we had combined our gifts (our anniversary is the 28th) so this year I did that again, but he didn't. He said he wanted to go shopping Tuesday (his next off day) to get my anniversary gift. So guess I will have to wait till Tuesday or Wednesday to see what that is. DD asked for a keyboard and was very excited that Santa had brought that to her. She also liked her Barbie head so she can fix her hair and do her nails. We went to church on Sunday morning and our choir did their Christmas cantata and he preached a short sermon. It was a very good Christmas I just wish DH hadn't of had to work yesterday, but at least he was here when we woke up yesterday morning and not his usual 3am to work.
