TS Fay...

as of right at this very moment the only thing she is doing here is causing lots of wind. The banana spiders outside the window aren't real happy about it but other than that it hasn't gotten bad yet. It hasn't even started raining here YET. I know we are expected to have lots and lots of rain. On top of that Morgan has a sinus infection and not feeling very good today so we are just chilling out at home waiting on Fay and hoping we will be able to watch the race tonight.
I have QVC's Bare Escentuals show from Thursday on DVR ready to watch. I watched some of it this morning and I can't wait to have time to finish watching it. As soon as I found out it was going to be on there I emailed Rhonda. She has a store right where she is but they were going to show the new fall products and I knew she would want to know. She got to watch some of it at work I think I don't get to do stuff like that.
My daddy went to the dermatologist on Wednesday and they did a new treatment on him that I have never heard of. It was called I think a blue test. They put this stuff all over his face and he had to sit in their waiting room for one hour then he went back and they used some kind of blue rays on him and this is suppose to destroy any skin cancers and also ones under the skin that haven't came up yet. They did this because couple of weeks before he had went and they took a skin cancer off his ear. He is suppose to go back in a couple of weeks and they are doing I believe his arms and top of his head. He couldn't go out in the sun for 48 hours after he had this test. I am just praying that this prevents any more skin cancers on him.
Morgan is loving school. She is upset now that with her not feeling very good that she might not get to go back on Monday. I was NOT this way when I was her age. I hunted things to get me out of going to school. I am so glad that she does like it and wants to go.

We interrupt this posting to bring you an update on TS Fay....It has started raining.

I have been cleaning house and washing clothes this morning. It is so nice to have a Saturday that doesn't have anything planned. The past couple of weekends seems that we have been on the go and to actually get to have a "jammie day" just feels so good. I took 2 solid white t-shirts and on one I wrote on and colored for Morgan to sleep in and the other one I let her color and write on. She loves them...like they cost tons of money!!!! the shirts were given to me from my Mom when she was cleaning out my Dad's closet for the yard sale. I know I need to take pics of both of them and scrap about that but I just haven't been in a scrappy mood. I don't know why I want to but I have lost my mojo I guess. I guess that will come back so I do need to take pics of them and maybe if she is feeling better this afternoon she will want to do that. I know I am rambling now but I don't really want to get back to house work and I know I need to. Cause you know where we live the power might be out any time and I won't be able to do anything but sit in this hot house. I do want to pray for Florida where Fay wasn't so nice and left all that flooding. Those families that have lost their homes please remember them in your prayers. Speaking of homes have you seen where they are now talking about that in the president election....who really cares how many houses people have...if they can afford the upkeep, bills, and taxes what concern is it of mine????...I don't watch enough of the political stuff as I should but when I heard that the other morning on GMA I could not believe that...ok I know now that I am talking about stuff that I don't know much about it is time for me to hush....have a great day and if you are near TS Fay I pray you stay as dry as possible and safe....ttfn and God Bless!
