we broke the news...

and she took it better than I thought she would. Last night we were all sitting on our bed just chatting and trying to figure out what was for supper. Jon looked at me and asked me if I thought it was a good time and I thought so. She started crying at first but once we got to talking about it and she asked some questions she was ok with it. We told her this time next week it would all be over with. We also told her that God was going to take care of her and that several churches had her on their prayer list. We also got to talking about taking showers instead of baths and she wanted to try that last night and she loved it. She has asked me about 3 times today if she could take another shower tonight. Jon got me started with showers when he first moved down here. He said why would you want to take a bath and sit there in your own funk. It was a very good point and I don't think I have taken but about 1 or 2 since then. It is nice when you aren't that dirty to sit in there and just relax.
Jon got a new toy. It is an external DVD writer. He is going to help do some editing with the church television station so he has been playing with it a lot. That has taken up a lot of my computer time. Sometimes I miss my computer. I remember when we were networked and could both be online at the same time.
I hope everyone is having a good weekend. Morgan and I are about to walk over to my brother's house. My youngest niece is painting my oldest niece (that just got married) room to move into it. She is really into guitar and has mostly taught herself how to play. She is painting the room some walls will be black with white musical notes and couple of walls white with black. Morgan and I are gonna go over and see if we can get a sneak peak at the room....ttfn
