Brrrrr It's Cold!!!

We woke up this morning and it was so warm and toasty under the covers. Morgan came and got in the bed with us at 6:30 and we dosed back to sleep for about an hour. I called time and temperature to find out that it was 21 degrees. That is just way to cold for the south. I got up and got ready for church. I can almost breathe normal. We have all been sick here. When we left for church this morning it was 24 degrees.
When we got back home the power was out so we called Pizza Hut and Jon went and picked us up a pizza because we couldn't warm up the spaghetti that we were going to have for lunch. Right before he left to get it the power came back on. We ate lunch then spent some time with Jon before he left for work, he is having to train people on different shifts so a couple of days he is having to work 3-11 and today is one of those days. While Jon was changing clothes to go to work the power went back off. It just came back on. It was starting to get cold in here.
While Morgan and I was waiting for the power to come back on she wanted to know if I could try and fix the blanket that she sleeps with. The edge had come apart and we had asked Aunt Gail to fix it but Morgan won't depart with it at night for her to work on it so we never found time in the day time to go over there to let her try to fix it so while the power was out I fixed the blanket for her. She said Mama you can sew. I said not really but enough to do this for you. It would of looked better on the machine and we still might let Aunt Gail fix it but for now there isn't a hole in her blanket anymore.
I wonder why it is that the weekends seem to fly by so fast. I know it was my 3 day weekend but this went by so fast. On Friday we went back to Morgan's eye doctor and he took her patch time down 2 more days. She still has some crossing and he still talked about surgery but the vision is much better in that eye now.
Being sick all week I haven't been online because at night all I wanted to do was take my meds and get in the bed plus I hadn't been online much before that because Jon had been using the computer to do some stuff for work. I missed the ladies at Scrap-diner and I am so glad I feel so much better today. Sher sent me an email checking on me I thought that was so sweet. She said she was praying for me too. Nancy left me a message on here checking on me..I should of gotten online long enough to tell them why I wasn't around..they are so sweet. I hope everyone is having a great weekend...Rhonda is enjoying her snow I guess..it looked really pretty in her yard.....ttfn
