today was my Friday

yep I am off tomorrow and so far we don't have any plans...I think I am still going to go walk with the girls from work. I am so excited that I still have my will power and want to go every day to walk.
Well I have some exciting news!!! yesterday for Valentine's day my niece..that is the first one on my side got a 1 karet princess cut engagement ring. She is so excited and was so not expecting this. I mean they had talked about it but she figured it would be a while before he did this. It was so romantic how he did it too. He took her to Logan's her favorite place to eat and then he took her to the beach. He gave her a card and told her to read it out load. At the bottom of the card she read that he had her one rose..he got it from behind his back and told her that it was for their past...she then read that he had another rose..it was for now...she then read that he had one for her present and that was all he had to give her..well hanging from that one was this ring tied on it...and he said this is for our future. He then got down on one knee and asked her to marry him...she was crying by this point so he said ...are you gonna answer me and she said ofcourse I will marry you...now look at this pic you think she is excited? She has been on cloud 9 all day. She got up really early this morning and went around showing everybody. When he asked my brother if he could ask her I don't know what all he said to him but he got my brother to crying. He is a really sweet guy and he takes really good care of her and the best thing is he is a Christian. He and his family were going to the church that Jon and I go to now before we were. Meagan left the church that our family use to go to and now she and Jon and I are all going to the same church.
Now for the rest of what happened today. Jon you know has started digi scrapping. Well he did another layout..here it is. Well he was posting this in the gallery at Scrapgal and when I got home he was adding it to a challenge there for DH's. Well he was cooking...you know his first favorite thing to do..and guess what..yep he burnt the cabbage ....It's a first but thought it was funny that he was working on his digi stuff when it happened. ....ok I have used enough time here...hope everyone has a great Friday....ttfn
