Catching Up...

I know it has been awhile since I have caught this thing up but things have been really crazy around here. On Monday night we left going to my in-laws that is 4 hours from here because on Tuesday my FIL had a pacemaker put in. Tuesday we were at the hospital all day and spent time Tuesday night over at DH's sisters house before getting up Wednesday morning to start back home. We stopped in Birmingham to see Rhonda and meet her at Scrap Etc. oh my it is such a good thing I don't live close to there! After looking around, spending some money there and chatting with Rhonda we drove the rest of the way home. While we were gone we noticed that DD hadn't been sneezing and I had forgotten to pack her Zyrtec so she wasn't even on her medicine. When we got home she was playing with Charlie and started sneezing and breaking out with a red rash on her face. We have put Charlie outside and she has stopped sneezing so we talked to her and have decided to let Charlie go to a home that isn't allergic to him. I have been cleaning all morning and she didn't even wake up this morning sneezing either so I think we have made the right decision in not having a dog at this time. DH explained to her that we would try again when she is older to see if she grows out of this allergy. It must not be all dogs though because she was at my parents house and they have an eight week old poodle that DD treats like a baby and she doesn't break out around him. It was hard seeing her get upset about not having Charlie inside or here even, but this morning she hasn't said much about Charlie only asking if he was still outside. I really would love to get some scrapping done this weekend but the only pictures I have left to do are Christmas and the paper I need to do it or want to do it with is still at Scrapgal waiting patiently in my cart. I need to get it here so I can get that Christmas album done on the 18th at our next crop.
