Yesterday...what a day!

It all started on DH's way to work. He had to be at work at 2 am so after he left I went back to bed and was almost back asleep when I heard my linc go off. I go and get my phone and it is DH. He says "I just hit a deer"...I said "Are you Ok?" He said "yes, but I don't think my truck is"...that is ok because it can be fixed...anyway he was wanting me to call the insurance company in the am and get him towed....I said ok and layed back down saying a prayer that I was so thankful that DH was ok and that it wasn't bad. It was my off day. DD and I had planned a shopping trip with a friend and her son. I called the insurance company and they said we could go ahead and call to get it towed. It really isn't bad...if you didn't know about it you couldn't even tell it had happened except under the hood...he has a busted radiator. DH said it was 5 of them and they came out of know where...going across the road...DH tried to stop but ended up hitting the last one. He was close enough to work that he drove on to work. I called my dad first (he owns a parts shop) so I knew he would know which body shop to call and he ended up calling for me...(yes I am a spoiled brat that still has my daddy to take care of things for his baby Ü) He also said that he would get my Mom to pick DH from there and take him home so I could go ahead and go shopping as planned. Ü My first plans were to be back shortly after lunch, but ofcourse that didn't happen. We didn't get back until almost dark. The scrapbook store had a 80% off table...OH MY! So today while DH is at work in my Jeep which I said as he left this morning "Please be careful and watch for deer crossing" we both laughed. It was a fun day shopping even though it started out to be a bit of a crazy day.
