Had my first Stampin' Up party yesterday and OH MY !!! I had heard of them before but never really thought I would be interested in stamping. One of my friends from Scrapgal, dina aka dinastamps, answered some questions I had before calling my demonstrator...she use to be a demonstrator. Dina told me that this was the best time because they have Sale-a-bration January and Feburary...every $50 that anyone spends they get a free select stamp set. Everyone knows that you mention free and we ladies are gonna do what it takes to get that free one :) I had 7 out of the 14 I had invited to show up. Plus I had a booking off of that and Martha Joy (my demonstrator) gives the hostess a free stamp pad if she comes to the class of the one that booked. She said it was her way of thanking people for getting someone else into it. Another thing that made yesterday fun was that Rhonda got to come not only to the party but to stay and scrap with us as well. She has been scrapping a lot longer than I have and she has always been more crafty than me. I talked and looked at Rhonda's stash so other than making these 2 cards I didn't get but 1 layout done. I think I have found a new addiction though!!
