Wow what a weekend....

yesterday was amazing. I had to be @ the church @ 8:30 am and Christy Sutherland was there and we (our praise team singers) had a FULL day with Chirsty. She is a voice coach and a very good one. I learned soooo much and she is so sweet. Last night the 3 of us went to DTV for them taping the interview of her and her hubby Matt Dudney (Barbara Mandrell's son). They have only been married for 2 years and they are such a sweet couple that truly love the Lord. Matt set and casted her wedding rings. The wedding band is diamonds all the way around except for one ruby and that is for the blood of Jesus. Isn't that just the most awesomest thing you have ever heard. It is a gorgeous set.
Today we went to church this morning then we went and bought groceries for the week. Came home and watched the race....Tony came in second. Now Jon is taking a nap, Morgan is listening to Christy's cd with her headset on and I decided to come see what was going on out in cyber land.
I thought that maybe next Saturday that Morgan and I could sleep late but that isn't gonna happen because we found out today that she has dress rehearsal for a program they are doing at church in two weeks. It is Promise and she has some speaking parts.
Gina had gotten a few extra products from Bare Escentuals when she ordered and she let me borrow them to see if I would want to order. It was the rever upper and the primer. I used them a couple of days and I really like them. I know ya'll are probably tired of hearing me talk about bareMinerals or Bare Escentuals but I just love this stuff. It feels so great and Jon has complimented me more since I have been using this. I know it's just make but it feels so great and this morning Morgan was watching me put it on and she said you get your makeup on faster now. She said she was watching so that when she got bigger she would know how to put bareminerals on.
I know I also always have a lot of prayer request but hey there is so much power in prayer. My friend and also co-worker Dawn's mother isn't doing very well. She has COPD and has lots of trouble breathing. She is on oxygen all the time but recently she has gotten worse and they are having to have a sitter with her in the day time and she and her sister are taking turns at night staying with her. Please remember not only Ms. Sue but Dawn and her sister Jeannie and their families. It has to be stressful taking care of a parent and running 2 households like Dawn and Jeannie are having to do right now. I have known Dawn 22 years now and we have worked together at 2 different offices and it is really hard to see a friend go through this.
Well we have praise team practice in a few minutes and I need to change clothes before going back to church. I hope everyone has a great week. I was trying to blog more but nothing is going on so there isn't really anything to talk about that would keep anyones attention. We are watching Ike to see where he is going to go. These hurricanes need to fizzle out....ttfn
