quiet night

listen do you hear that?....it is so quiet. I rocked Morgan and she is in her bed now sleeping like a baby. Jon is at work and I told him earlier on the phone...Sunday nights are so lonely with him at work. I mean when he works 3-11 during the week I am so tired by the time I get home from church and get Morgan to bed that I go to bed and it isn't as bad, but on Sunday nights after I put Morgan to bed and dreading the weekend coming to an end I really miss him being here. I miss our talks...we can talk about EVERYTHING....I miss getting into bed and telling him I am freezing and he is always so warm and snuggles with me to warm me up.....ok I will stop..I am starting to get teary eyed....but I miss my hubby.
Gina is out of town this weekend so I am taking care of her Mom. She had told me she had a ride to church then this morning at 9 she calls to tell me that she is ready and waiting on me to pick her up....so Jon, Morgan and I hurried up and went and got her for church. When we got in the jeep coming home because we didn't go our usual way home Morgan thought we should be going to Pizza Hut for lunch. Jon said that did sound pretty good so we ended up coming home and Morgan and I went back to get pizza. Jon had to leave for work right after we finished eating. Morgan and I went outside and played a game and with the cats. She was so funny...one of the cats was playing with me and had my sock in his claws...Morgan started getting upset and said leave my Mama alone..then she wanted to come inside but I talked her into staying outside. Meagan came over and talked to us a little while.
Nascar is starting next weekend. The shootout was this weekend and Tony came in second. Dale Jr won it. Second isn't bad and I would rather Dale Jr. win than some of the others. It was fun to watch and now I am ready for next weekend. We aren't having church next weekend..they switched it to the next week so that worked out so that we could watch...now maybe Jon will get his days so he will be here to see it too.
This afternoon while we were outside I talked to Mama and her and Daddy were shopping. She said they were having the Clinique bonus so Morgan and I went down to their house to look for her to see what color she wears. They got me a bonus too....they are so sweet. Morgan and I decided to go to church with them. It was kind of strange...it is the church that we use to go to...a real true baptist church. We got to see some people we haven't seen in a while. Morgan went to their children's church. After church Bro Arnold asked Mama what Morgan called Daddy then he told her that he was sure Pawpaw would take her to get a Happy Meal. So of course when we got in the car Morgan set in wanting one. They ended up buying us both one.
I have one more thing before I finally hush...if you have read this far....this should be at the top I guess....2 weeks ago my Daddy had a new stress test...it was one that took 4 hours and he couldn't be around preg women or children for 24 hours afterwards. Well they found another blockage...he had quadrupel bypass in 1996 and since then he has had 2 stints so if you don't mind please add him to your prayers...I am praying it isn't bad because this was two weeks ago and he goes back to the doctor tomorrow so I am believe that God is working on this.
