wow..it's already December...

Don't ya remember as a kid how it seemed like it took forever for Christmas to get here..now it seems as though you just blink and it is another month. It is so hard to believe that in 3 weeks my baby will be 5. Grandma said let's put a book on her head to stop her from growing up. I sometimes really wish we could do that, but then I see how she is growing and turning into a precious young lady. Today we polished her fingernails for the first time.....they look so pretty. She hadn't been wanting them done but this morning when we were getting her ready for her Christmas card pic we did her toes and she asked if I would do her fingers.
Tonight was the Christmas parade..it was really nice and seemed to be longer than usual. The only bad thing was that it was in the 70s so it really didn't seem like a Christmas parade.
Jon and I went Christmas shopping yesterday and Morgan stayed at Nana and Pawpaw's. We got this blessing that I just gotta tell..I had to call my Mama as soon as we got back in the Jeep. Here is what happened. Morgan asked for this Pinkie Pie..I had no clue what it was so Jon found it online. Well everywhere he looked it was $49.99 or higher except he found one on Amazon. He ordered it and on Thursday of this week we got an email saying that it hadn't been shipped yet and possibly wouldn't be until the 17th-24th. I said what are we gonna do. Well....while we were in Target yesterday Jon said let's just go see if they have them and how much. They had the one we had ordered on Amazon (btw on there is was $34.99 with free shipping). I went over to the pole scanner and scanned it...it was $34.99. There was another one right there beside it that had 2 additional ponies with it. I went to scan it and it said item not found. There was a girl walking around with a hand held scanner so I asked her so she scanned it and got the same thing so she told me to go down to electronics register and tell them. We went down there and told her what had happened she got a manager to come over and she keyed some things and scanned and then said I will be right back with a price. She said I will give you a good deal. She came back and said 746 I was thinking what and Jon said we will take it. She rang us up and it came to $8 and some change. I looked at Jon and said we have just been blessed. He said yes we have. I got out to the jeep and just cried and cried. We went over to Toysrus and they had it there for the $49 price. When we got home last night we had an email that they had shipped our other one. We talked about it and rather than send it back we are going to pass our blessing on. We are going to give it to someone less fortunate that might not get anything this Christmas. I know I am going to scrap this story after Christmas because I want Morgan to know about all the blessings that fall if you live in His will. It still gives me chills thinking about it. Jon and I had a fun day yesterday but both of us looked for Morgan several times because we hardly ever go anywhere without her. GOD is SO GOOD!!!
Tonight I called my very good friend Nancy that has been sick. She has Lupus and right now Shingles. She has had a rough time and they just changed her meds that she seems to of gotten immune to. She doesn't feel very good and the shingles are in her eye so lights bother her. She is weak and nauseous a lot so please keep her and her family in your prayers. Morgan added them to her prayers tonight and as I rocked her I thought about how blessed I truly am. I might have a sinus infection and think sometimes that my head is going to explode but holding my baby tonight and thinking about Nancy and how she needs to just hold her baby and can't always do that it just made me realize how truly truly blessed I am. If you are healthy and can hold your baby (they aren't really babies anymore but hey they will always be our babies) just hold it tight and thank God for giving you that special gift from Him....ok I gotta stop now I am starting to cry....enjoy your night...ttfn
