another year older...

it's been a good week. Tuesday night my parents had all (my family, my brother's family, my two uncles) all over to their house for chicken cooked on the grill, ff and cake and ice cream. Tuesday was actually my nieces birthday and she turned 15 so she was excited. She got her permit on Wednesday (my birthday). Jon baked our cake it was a pound cake and it was so yummy then Gail decorated it. She made each end our colors..Mallory likes baby blue and brown. I like PINK!! I thought it turned out really cute. Morgan was so sweet all day long and told me several times that she hoped I had a Happy Birthday. Then when we got home Wednesday night she said "Mama my birthday is next...how many more days till Dec 20th"....I told her a couple of months...she said oh like next week...LOL.
Our church started taping one of the shows that is going to be on the new t v station that we are starting on Monday. We went both nights because we don't get the channel that it is going to be on so we decided to go watch and be in the audience plus Jon had to work a camera one of those nights.
We have a physician assistant out this week on vacation and the doctor wanted his day off so we closed today. Tomorrow is my day off so it gave me a really long weekend...WOOHOO!!! so Morgan and I have really enjoyed today and I am glad we still have 3 more days.
Gina and her family left today headed to Disney World. They will be gone until the 20th so her sister Nita and I will be taking turns to go and give their mom her medicine. Gina and I have been friends for so long that her mom is like family so I don't mind helping them out cause I know she would do it for me if it was me. I have to get her mail and feed the fish while they are gone to but since she moved closer (only a mile away) and I go by her house to get to mine that isn't much either. I know I will just miss her being gone and will probably pick the phone up several times to call her and then remember she isn't there.
Tonight while I was watching Survivor my Dad calls and tells me that my uncle has fell down in his yard. They took him by ambulance to the hospital and he has a broken shoulder. They will be taking him to another hospital in the morning to do surgery on him so if you would please remember him in your prayers. He is the uncle that lost his wife last year and has been very lonely since then.....oh well Jon is home from work now so I will go see how his day was....good night....ttfn
