I have been awake since 4:30...

why you ask???? oh it could have something to do with tonight....what's happening tonight?? oh just singing in the new Praise & Worship team....and perhaps because DOTTIE RAMBO is gonna be there!!! and we are gonna have a packed house. I am nervous and excited. This will only be my second time on the stage singing on the P&W team. It starts at 7 and we are opening the doors to the public at 6:20 but all of us are getting there at 5. If you don't know who Dottie Rambo is go google her...she is like the Queen of gospel music. Jon has baked cookies and is going to bake a pound cake today to take up there. One of the exciting things is that we are opening for her and then they are going to let us sit on stage with her because they are expecting such a big crowd there won't be seating for us on the pews.
Yesterday was my Daddy's birthday and he was 64. We (Mama, Daddy, Jon, Morgan, Alan, Gail, Meagan, Zach, and me) took him to David's Catfish. We then went to Mama and Daddy's house and had cake and ice cream. Zach had his little brother Hunter with him and while we were over there Alan let Mama and Daddy's poodle out. Morgan is allergic so ofcourse she started breaking out. She started asking to come home which is unusal for her. We came home and I gave her Benadryl and she is still asleep at 8:15 this morning.
I am also excited because there is a girl at work that goes walking. Well on Thursday I decided to go with her. Then yesterday I went and walked 1 whole mile. I was so proud of myself and feel so much better. I have also had lots of will power this time. I didn't eat any of the ice cream and only a small piece of cake...and that is only because Mama made a pound cake with homemade icing...couldn't resist a small piece plus can't hurt her feelings now can I....but I am surprise at how I have controlled my eatting this week. Jon had a candy bar left over from his cookies..he made Neiman-Marcus ones....I love plain Hershey bars but I refused to eat it. I want to really get this weight off and hopefully this time keep it off. Hope everyone is having a great weekend......ttfn
