the day after

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas..and took time to remember the true reason for the season. We had a great Christmas...on Christmas Eve we went to church then after we went over to my parents where we ate a very good lunch. Then we came home and cleaned off our extra bed because Jon's parents were coming that night. We then all went as a family to my parents church that we all use to go to and had Christmas eve service. Both my brothers and our church didn't have services that night. I know that made my Mama's day because when she asked us all to go she said it would be nice if all the family went together for it. Jon's parents got here around midnight and we stayed up until around 1 am talking to them. On Monday, Jon and I woke up around 7 and waited on Morgan to wake up then finally at 7: 30 we went and woke her up. She had really had a hard night....first she wanted to know how Santa was going to get in since we didn't have a fireplace, then she wanted to know how he was going to get in with the alarm set and finally she wanted to know if he was going to do anything to her. She didn't want him in her room. She was very excited to find her Leapster and games. She liked her CD player also. Once Jon's parents got up we had a big breakfast...potatoes, biscuits, bacon, and eggs. We then just spent the day with them and enjoyed having them here. They had to leave around 4 because Dad had to get back for a doctors appt today. After they left once it got dark we took Morgan riding to look at Christmas lights. Jon had to go back to work today. Morgan and I went to town and did some things this morning and now we are back home just waiting on time for Jon to be home. She asked me earlier if he would be home soon.
