Getting the call

Yesterday morning after I posted the last entry, I was sitting on my bed. The phone rang and on the caller id it said out of area so I didn't bother answering it. Then about 2 minutes later it rings again with the same id....so something told me I should get it. Good thing I did...it was DH and he was at work and out of breath...he was having chest pains also. I wasn't even dressed and he works about an hour and 15 minutes from here. I hurried up and put my makeup on and got DD and me dressed and out the door we went. They took him by ambulance to the hospital. My mom insisted on going with DD and me. It was a good thing she did because DD couldn't go back to see him. They got the blood work results back and decided to admit him because the one that showed he was dehydrated was elevated. Another good thing that Mom went was that she was able to drive his truck home. The thing was ...I know this is probably silly but last night was our first night apart since we have been married. I was pretty upset about that and called him twice before I could go to sleep. So then this morning I took DD to my Mom's and went to spend the day with him at the hospital. He was finally discharged this afternoon and other than being weak from being in bed, his hand hurting from being probed and ready to get back to our comfy bed he is doing better. I must say though that getting the call that the ambulance was taking my DH to the hospital with chest pains was pretty scary.....have a great weekend!!!
